In the Austin A40 you’ve got former BTCC driver Mike Jordan, in the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Ti you’ve got motoring journalist Richard Meaden, and behind him you’ve got two MkI Jaguars, the first driven by Grant Williams and the second by Justin Law. Enter a safety car-restart and you’ve got some seriously manic wheel-to-wheel racing.
They’re squeezing each other onto the grass, they’re diving up the inside when there really isn’t a gap worth knowing, and they’re drafting down the straights. Drafting, in 1950s tin-tops. This is one heck of a fight.
